The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has charged NYSC members to serve with dedication and integrity.
Sani, who was represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Barrister Gloria Ibrahim, made the call at the closing ceremony of the 2025 batch 'B' stream 1 orientation course on Tuesday in Kaduna.
He congratulated them on completing their orientation course and urged them to respect host communities' cultures.
The governor emphasised the importance of security consciousness and encouraged corps members to acquire skills through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) post-camp training to become self-employed.
Sani called on employers to accept and make corps members feel at home, enabling them to serve with enthusiasm.
Earlier, the Coordinator of NYSC in Kaduna, Mrs Efeke Dadaza, said that the corps members displayed discipline and actively participated during camp activities.
She said they are now equipped and ready to proceed to their Places of Primary Assignment.
The coordinator urged the corps members to be good ambassadors, respect host communities' cultures, and identify community needs to make a positive impact through the community development service.
She encouraged them to perfect their SAED skills to become self-reliant and employers of labor.
The coordinator appreciated the government's support and solicited further assistance for corps members' welfare.
She thanked stakeholders and camp officials for their contributions to the orientation course's success.
