He emphasized the need for a dedicated Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, recommending Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho for the role due to her proven track records in Humanitarian services.
Ibrahim said, “we are appealing on the need to tackle the economic situation confronting our members and other vulnerable members of the human society as a result of this economic challenges ravaging the country.
“We are aware that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu through his Renewed Hope Agenda is doing everything humanly possible to find a lasting solution to this menace, meanwhile we want to urge that he prioritize competence by giving appointing individuals with proven track records.
“Without doubt, individuals who prioritizes the welfare of the citizenry like the CEO of QAT Foundation Hajiya Halimat Tejuosho Adenike has contributed her quota to national development overtime and as such we believe that if she's given the opportunity to serve as humanitarian affairs and poverty Alleviation Minister, she will be able to solve Nigeria's challenges grappling with poverty, inequality, and disability.
