IPMAN Congratulates Masari, Maituraka on new appointments

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Katsina State chapter has congratulated the former governor of the state, Aminu Masari as the Chairman, Governing Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).
Alhaji Abbas Hamza, the IPMAN Chairman, while briefing newsmen, in Katsina on Sunday, also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment.
Hamza said Masari will bring his experience to bear in heading the agency which intervenes in the country's tertiary education.
He also recalled that as Katsina State governor, Masari accorded priority to the education sector with the tertiary education sub-sector receiving the needed attention.
"As a former federal lawmaker, former Speaker House of Representatives, two-term Governor and a respected statesman, Masari is well suited for the appointment.
"TETFUND needs his wealth of experience, selflessness and style of leadership which will assist in achieving the objectives of President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda in the tertiary education sub-sector.
"IPMAN congratulates him and expresses its appreciation to the president for appointing him to head the board of this agency at this critical period", IPMAN Chairman said.
Similarly, he congratulated one of the IPMAN members in the state, Alhaji Abdulazeez Maituraka on his appointment as Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President, Alhaji Jibrin Barau.
He recalled that as a public servant between 2018 and 2023, Maituraka discharged his responsibility with loyalty and utmost dedication through effective enlightenment of the public on state government Programmes and policies.
Describing Maituraka as a dedicated politician and entrepreneur, Hamza thanked the Deputy Senate President for finding him worthy of the appointment.
