In his efforts to complement governor Uba Sani's administration in its quest to provide good road network to the people in the state especially rural dwellers, the All progressive Congress APC aspirant of Chikun/Kajuru federal constituency bye election, Comrade Yakubu Waziri has embarked on a series of constructions of roads in the area.
The project began with the rehabilitation of Kasuwar Magani road linking Rimau to other neighboring communities in the eastern part of Kasuwar Magani in Kajuru local government area aimed to alleviate transportation difficulties.
Following this development, It was reported that businesses and other daily activities have geared up in the area, as the people of the area are now moving freely with their farm produce from farm to home and from home to the markets and in turn this has significantly boosted the living condition of the benefiting communities.
Another ongoing project, is the construction of road started from Maranathan junction Unguwar Boro linked to Janruwa and connected to Rimi community in Chikun local government area, covering a distance of eighteen klometers.
Before the commencement of the project, the initiator, Comrade Yakubu Waziri led his technical team members to the palace of Etsu Chukun Mr. Ishaku Yari to seek his fatherly advice and informed the monarch that he is committed to assisting Kaduna state governor, Mal. Uba Sani towards providing social amenities to the people especially road network that has a direct bearing to the overall socio economic development of the state.
In his response, the Etsu Chukun Mr. Ishaku Yari expressed appreciation for the foresight and commitment of Comrade Yakubu Waziri towards rendering assistance to the people even before he is elected.
Mr. Isyaku Yari took time to speak on the advantages of having a grassroot politician like Yakubu Waziri, adding that he knows what the people want and has the capacity to deliver it.
The monarch prayed for God guidance, protection and a successful journey of Comrade Yakubu Waziri's political career for the benefit of the general public.
Speaking during the official groundbreaking of the road construction, Comrade Yakubu Waziri said the gesture was to support governor Uba Sani's administration in initiating projects that have straight impact to the life of the grassroot people, describing the road construction project as a tip of the iceberg as more are on the way.
He further noted that the intention is to build eighteen road projects including feeder and linking roads which will help in fast tracking farming activities that the people of the two local government are known for, thereby creating not just job opportunities, but also improve food security and also replenish the agricultural and business activities of the areas.
He thanked governor Uba Sani for practicing an all-encompassing style of leadership, pledging to support him in all direction targeted to making Kaduna State a better and safer place for all.
While commenting on the kind gesture, a crossed section of Unguwar Boro residents and other road users expressed their delight for the construction of eighteen klometers road from Maranathan junction to Janruwa which also linked Rimi community, explained that it will ease transportation difficulties being face long time a go.
A former member of Kaduna state House of assembly and a renowned politician, Honorable Nuhu Dogo Makama and Honorable Samuel Kambai were among the technical team members of Comrade Yakubu Waziri's project.
