Gov. Sani completes 35km Gadar Gayan–Gwaraji–Maraban Kujama Asphaltic Road

By Sani Idris Abdulrahman

The Kaduna State Government has announced the completion of the 35-kilometre asphalt road linking Gadar Gayan (Igabi LGA), via a spur at Gwaraji (Kajuru LGA), to Maraban Kujama (Chikun LGA).

The project includes a 130-metre bridge across the River Kaduna and traverses through 76 farming communities, connecting three local government areas.

Groundbreaking of the road was performed by His Excellency, the Governor of Kaduna State, in January of last year.

The work was carried out by Messrs MotherCat Nigeria Limited, a reputable road construction firm globally.

This landmark project is the longest asphalt road constructed in Kaduna State in the last two decades, significantly improving connectivity, facilitating the movement of people and goods, and stimulating economic activity across the benefitting communities.

It is also part of the rural transformation agenda of Governor Uba Sani, aimed at enhancing the economy and livelihood of the communities.
