Kaduna govt.trains health workers on oxygen sustainability plan

The Kaduna
State Ministry of Health has commence a three - day workshop to develop the state Oxygen Sustainability plan.
Pharmacist Isah Abubakar -Balarabe, the Director of Pharmaceutical Services, disclosed that the workshop was to develop a comprehensive Oxygen Sustainability plan for the State.
He said the workshop aimed to ensure a long-term functionality of the Oxygen infrastructure in the state and improve the availability and use of quality oxygen medical through innovative technology supply and practice.
He said in the three-day workshop, participants will discussed the current challenges faced in oxygen production, distribution, and access in Kaduna State.
" They will also explored various strategies and solutions to address these challenges and create a sustainable system for medical oxygen.
The workshop had a diverse range of participants, including representatives from the State and Federal Ministry of Health, health workers within and outside Kaduna, non-governmental organizations, and development partners.
"This allowed for a collaborative and comprehensive approach to developing the oxygen sustainability plan.'
The Director also emphasized the importance of the workshop's outcome for the people of Kaduna State. He urged participants to give their full attention and contribute effectively to the discussions.
He added that the workshop is part of the Kaduna State Ministry of Health's efforts to improve healthcare delivery and ensure the availability of essential medical commodities for the people of the State.
'By developing a comprehensive Oxygen Sustainability plan, the ministry aims to enhance the overall healthcare system and improve the quality of healthcare services provision to the people."(NAN)
