Maj.-Gen. Abubakar Wase, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 1 Division Nigeria Army, has reiterated the importance of synergy among the security agencies and stakeholders in ensuring a peaceful as well as a secured environment.
Wase stated this on Tuesday when he paid a tripartite courtesy visits to the Director, State Security Services, the Comptroller, Nigerian Immigration Service and the Commandant, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps Kaduna State Commands.
Wase, who doubles as the Commander, Sector 1, Joint Task Force, Operation Fansan Yamma, said synergy among the security agencies would enhance security in a joint operations environment.
The News Agency of NIgeria(NAN) reports that the GOC emphasised that it was always part of the Nigerian Army’s Non-kinetic initiative to cooperate, collaborate and work together with other security agencies.
Wase said that they were putting heads together with he state government with a view to ensuring a peaceful and secured atmosphere in the state.
