The National Orientation Agency's North West Zonal Director, Alhaji Hamisu Mayere, has paid a working visit to NOA Sokoto State Directorate, meeting with staff and Community Orientation and Mobilisation Officers.
Mayere discussed the agency's restructuring and zonal office operations, while soliciting support for smooth operations.
He emphasised effective reporting and record-keeping, urging staff to use GPS cameras and provide factual reports.
He encouraged staff to see their jobs as a calling to contribute to Nigeria's rebirth.
Mayere thanked the Agency's Director General, Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu for financial support.
Responding, the Director of NOA in Sokoto, Alhaji Babangida Kurfi, welcomed Abubakar and highlighted challenges facing the directorate which included staff shortages and logistical needs for Community Brigade Volunteers.
The visit, culminated in a courtesy call to District Head of Gagi, Alhaji Sani Umar Jabbi, where Mayere extended appreciation for traditional rulers' support and participation in the agency programs.
The District Head assured total support, citing the Sultan of Sokoto's commitment to engaging traditional rulers in supporting NOA's programs and activities.
