Empowering Change: Niger Delta Women Advocate for Dr. Tejuosho’s Political Appointment

In a heartfelt appeal, the Niger Delta Rural Women Development Front (NDRWDF) has called on President Bola Tinubu to consider Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho for a political appointment, citing her extensive expertise and unwavering commitment to social development as vital assets for his administration.
The appeal was made in a statement signed by NDRWDF’s National Spokesperson, Comrade Tamarapreye Nemi, and its secretary, Comrade (Mrs) Ochuko Mercy,.
The group described Dr. Tejuosho as a distinguished philanthropist whose initiatives have significantly impacted the lives of vulnerable populations across Nigeria.
Newsmen reports that Tejuosho is renowned for her numerous programs designed towards uplifting marginalized groups particularly widows, orphans, unemployed youth, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
The NDRWDF emphasized Tejuosho's relentless dedication to alleviating poverty and improving the welfare of the underprivileged, describing her humanitarian efforts as a “rare virtue” in contemporary Nigeria.
The group emphasised that President Tinubu would benefit immensely from Tejuosho’s innovative approach and deep-rooted patriotism.
“By appointing Tejuosho, President Tinubu will not only enhance the effectiveness of his Renewed Hope Agenda but also demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusive governance.”
The NDRWDF expressed confidence that Tejuosho, if given the opportunity to serve, would implement transformative policies that could substantially improve the socio-economic conditions of many Nigerians.
They emphasized that such an appointment would earn the President accolades both nationally and internationally.
Reiterating their stance, the group remarked, “Tejuosho’s appointment would mark a significant step towards fostering inclusivity in governance, effectively addressing the diverse needs of the Nigerian populace.”
