The President of the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Isah Abubakar, has petitioned the Police over an alleged impersonation of the council's leadership by one Alhaji Hussaini Abubakar Agaire
Isah, through his counsel, Abdulmalik Alfa, Esq, wrote the petition to the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Garki, Abuja.
The petition reads;
"We are solicitors to, Isah Abubakar hereinafter referred to as "our client" and on whose strict instructions and authority we write this complaint.
"Our client is the authentic President of NYCN. It is our client instructions that one Alhaji Hussaini Abubakar Agaire wrote a letter to the Honourable Minister of Bidget and Economic Planning here in attached, inviting and nominating him for "2024 Northern Nigeria Youth Humanitarian Service Diamond Peace Awards" and the same Alhaji Hussaini Abubakar Agaire signed the letter claiming to be the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria President thereby impersonated our client and trying to mislead the Honourable Minister and general public".
"Sir, we urge you to use your good office to investigate this complaint and take appropriate penal actions against Alhaji Hussalini Abubakar Agaire in order to avoid the breakdown of law and order".
