The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, has successfully secured a befitting accommodation for its pilgrims in Makkah ahead of the 2025 pilgrimage.
Malam Buhari Marabar-Jos, a member of the Special Committee overseeing the agency, made the announcement following his return from Saudi Arabia, at a press briefing on Tuesday in Kaduna.
Marabar-Jos revealed that the accommodations had satisfied the requirements of both the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj.
He also highlighted that a delegation led by the Executive Chairman of the agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, was currently in Saudi Arabia to finalise all the remaining arrangements before their return to Nigeria.
He reiterated Gov Uba Sani’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and comfort of the state’s pilgrims, assuring that the government was fully dedicated to ensuring a smooth and fulfilling pilgrimage for everyone.
He urged the prospective pilgrims to continue participating in the weekly enlightenment programmes organised by the Aagency across the 23 local government areas of the state.
“These programmes are designed to provide essential knowledge and guidance for a successful Hajj, especially given the significant investment of over N8.million made by each pilgrim,” the official added.
