The Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, has begun a two-day working visit to military institutions in Kaduna State. On Monday, June 2, 2025, the Minister toured the Nigerian Defence Academy, inspecting ongoing construction projects and facilities while interacting with senior officers.
During his visit, the Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Major General A.K. Ibrahim, briefed the Minister on the institution's operations and academic activities. The Commandant commended the Federal Government for upgrading the academy's infrastructure and appreciated the Minister's exemplary leadership.
In response, Minister Abubakar praised the institution's outstanding performance and reaffirmed the Federal Government's continued support in achieving the Academy's strategic objectives. He visited the Hall of Fame, the Centre of Excellence under construction, the Senate Building under construction, the Postgraduate School, and the Centre for Innovation and Creativity.
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the Minister is expected to visit Buffalo Engineering Technical Services and the Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna. The visit aims to boost military preparedness and assess the institutions' progress.
