The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), had began sensitising Nigerian pilgrims on Hajj rituals in Madina, and what they are expected to do when in Mecca.
Dr Muhammad Adam, one of the cleric, who is a member of the National Ulama team under NAHCON, said the sensitisation, was aimed at educating the pilgrims on doing the needful in line with religious guidelines of Hajj excercise.
He explained that the sensitisation, which was carried out door-to-door by many clerics of the NAHCON's preaching committee, would be sustained till the pilgrims leave Madina to Mecca.
He however, said in Mecca, they would continue to go round houses of Nigerian pilgrims to enlighten them on the Hajj excercise as enshrined in Islam.
Speaking further, the cleric said every state in Nigeria has preachers attached to them who would continue enlightening the pilgrims on transit.
He urged the pilgrims to be law abiding of the laws prescribed by almighty Allah on Hajj excercise.

Adam reminded the pilgrims on the need for financial management, noting that the Hajj excercise still has days to before it elapse.
Also, the Chief Imam of Rivers State, Sheikh Ibrahim Yalo, who is also a member of the National Ulama team under NAHCON, said the rites of Hajj observed accordingly were critical to its acceptance by Allah.
Yalo, who doubles as the Chairman, League of Imams, Rivers State, added that their duty of orientating the pilgrims on thier reason of being in the holy land was to remind them that Hajj is a call by Allah and what ever they want to do, they should do it with conciousness of Allah's existence.
"We made them understand that what ever they want to do, it should be for the sake of Allah and his prophet,",he said.
Yalo, urged pilgrims to conduct themselves in a manner that is pleasing to Allah, by engaging in acts of kindness such as giving out to the needy and always behaving like muslims.
One of the pilgrim, Garba Liman Zuntu from Zaria LGA of Kaduna State, said the sensitisation would go along way in reorienting them on doing the needful so as to have a blissful Hajj excercise.
He added that the clerics have reawakened their senses of judgement on doing the right activities while in Madina and what is needed to be done in Mecca.
Another pilgrim, Alhaji Danbaba from Dala, Kano State, said the sensitisation has broadened his horizon on so many rituals that are critical when he leaves Madina for Mecca.
He thanked the clerics for the sensitisation, while pledging to make good use of the knowledge he gained for the betterment of his Hajj excercise for better reward from Allah.
On her part, Rahina Salisu Maizare, a pilgrim from Maizare, Kaduna State, said she has learnt so many things that would improve her Hajj excercise.
