GELD foundation empowers economically active widows in Kaduna, FCT

Glovis Entreprenuerial and Leadership Development (GELD) Foundation, has empowered economically active widows in Kaduna and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
GELD Foundation, had since its inception in 2019 maintained a tradition of developing, educating, as well as empowering, economically active women, youths and training children with a view to ensuring upward financial migration and drive entrepreneurial inclusion.
As the foundation rolled out its agenda for year 2022, it is worthy to note that they had impacted immensely on their targeted beneficiaries.
GELD Foundation, a nonprofit making organisation, had since its inception poised in empowering women and youth in their various chosen businesses in various States in Nigeria.
The Founder and Sponsor of the GELD, Mr. Kayode Akinade and members of the Foundation, had presented business needs items to Abuja and Kaduna beneficiaries for the Women and Youth Empowerment Program last week.
Akinade affirmed that GELD shall be expanding its humanitarian feathers to more women, youths and children.
He noted that all of the gestures were aimed at inspiring and promoting the beneficiaries to increase productivity, excellence, and to guarantee their dignity and security in achieving their business objectives or conceived idea.
The Women and Youth Empowerment Program, captured data entries of the shortlisted widows in respect to their businesses, home locations, physical well-being, educational background, and business needs, among other details of importance.
Most importantly, the beneficiaries were taken through book keeping training session, which was deliberately included to encourage business owners to keep good business records that could help manage and improve their businesses.
GELD has developed several social and humanitarian projects for the benefits of women (widows) and youths in the society in general and is passionate about doing more.
The leadership of the foundation, appreciated the continuous partnership and support of Microvis Microfinance Bank and other stakeholders on the Women and Youth Empowerment Programme.
