The Student Union Government (SUG), Kaduna State University solicited partnership with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to sensitised students on government, programsmes, policies and activities.
This is contained in a statement signed by Ibrahim Sulaiman, the NOA Public Relations Officer on Wednesday in Kaduna.
Comrade Nafiu Shittu,the vice president of the union said while on a courtesy visit to NOA office, that the students needed value reorientation and enlightenment on issues affecting them.
The student’s representative also implore NOA to carried the students along in their activities, saying that such gesture would expose the students on how government works and avail them other opportunities.
In his response, Zubair Galadima-Soba,the state director of NOA said that the agency had been engaging students in its activities and would continue in that direction.
“The agency recently conducted a programme at the state university named ‘Campus Focus’ where students were engaged and sensitised on government policies, programmes and activities.
” We have also received student representatives from two other institutions, therefore the agency is always willing to work with students”,he said.
The director advised the student union to write a formal letter to the agency highlighting the areas they would want the agency to address

Nigeria needs N348.1 trillion for my development plan - Buhari
The government is expected to provide N49.7 trillion, while the private sector would provide N298.3 trillion.
President Muhammadu Buhari says the Nigerian government requires N348.1 trillion in investments for his National Development Plan 2021-2025 to succeed.
Speaking at the formal launch of the plan on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, the 79-year-old said is to achieve a broad-based real GDP growth rate of 5% on average during the four-year period.
He said the plan also hopes to generate 21 million full-time jobs, and lift 35 million people out of poverty through an inclusive growth.
"I have no doubt in my mind that with effective and sustained implementation, Nigeria will achieve quantum leap in unlocking its potentials in all sectors of the economy for a sustainable and inclusive national development," he said.
The government is expected to provide N49.7 trillion or 14.3% of the N348.1 trillion, while the private sector would provide the balance of N298.3 trillion or 85.7%.
