William-Dada said that the training cut across the three senatorial districts of the state, and participants were selected from the Extended Special Public Works beneficiary (ESPW) to broaden their Knowledge on wealth creation.
“This is a training that will broaden your knowledge as you engage in various business activities in creating wealth and employment for yourselves. You will be taught how to generate business ideas.
“You will also learn how to market your business, costing of products and services, feasibility report among others,” she said.
While urging participants to pay attention to presentations by the resource persons, William-Dada expressed optimism that the training would be insightful, interactive and impactful on trainees to realise the set objectives.
She also pleaded with beneficiaries who had not received payment for the ESPW jobs to be patient, saying that the problem was from the bank and would be rectified as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the Director General of NDE, Malam Abubakar Nuhu-Fikpo, who was represented by Ibrahim Sulaiman, Zonal Head, North-West, said the training was aimed at making beneficiaries self reliant.
Nuhu-Fikpo said at the end of the training, those who had started their businesses would be able to manage such effectively, while those starting newly would have a solid footing.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that some of the beneficiaries had earlier decried non-payment of the N20,000 monthly stipend for the 774,000 jobs and urged the NDE to rectify the problem urgently.
Bala Sani, one of those yet to receive the allowance, said though he had a business idea, there was however, no capital to start off, and pleaded with the Federal Government to look into the matter and proffer solution.
However, one of the beneficiaries, Mrs Rifkatu David, said she had received all her stipends and had already started a poultry business, urging government to Implement more empowerment programmes for citizens.

Senate grants Buhari permission to borrow $16bn, €1bn
Nigeria's debt profile continues to rise.
The Senate has granted President Muhammadu Buhari permission to borrow the sums of $16,230,077,718, €1,020,000,000 and a grant of $125,000,000 in foreign loans, for the construction of critical infrastructure and legacy projects.
Lawmakers specifically approved the issuance of €500,000,000 from the Bank of Industries and €750,000,000 Eurobond in the International Capital Market.
The president was also asked to forward the terms and conditions of the loan from the funding agencies to the National Assembly.
Nigeria's debt portfolio has ballooned under President Buhari, rising from N12.12 trillion in June 2015, a month after he assumed office, to N32.92 trillion as of December 2020.
In October, the president asked Nigerians not to worry too much about the nation's rising debt profile, saying Nigeria does not have a debt sustainability problem but a revenue problem.
In his 2022 budget presentation to the National Assembly on Thursday, October 7, 2021, President Buhari said fresh borrowings of N5.01 trillion will be needed to finance the expected deficit of N6.62 trillion in next year's budget.
