Aloma Mukhtar Urges Leaders to Emulates Sir Ahmadu Bello

 The former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Aloma Mariam Mukhtar has appealed to Nigeria leaders to always emulate the good virtue of sir Ahmadu Bello.



Mukhtar made the appealed at the Dinner and award Night organized by sir Ahmadu Bello memorial foundation  on Saturday night in Kaduna. 



She said sir Ahmadu Bello has led a good legacy of education and promoting religious and belief in uplifting the people to building school and awarding scholarship within the state and abroad. 



" I appealed to leaders to ensure they emulate sir Ahmadu Bello by investing more on education sectors"




Also, the former Governor of Niger State Alhaji Babangida Aliyu said for the country to get it's right in terms of the challenges bedeviling the country and the North. 



He stressed the need for them to meet regularly and share information and data  to implement decisions concerning security.



He said to address issue of High level of youth unemployment, the Northern governor's need to harness it's resource and also build world high class skills aqcusition Centre in their states. 


 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that awards of life time achievement in community was presented to Alhaji Alhassan Dantata and Justice Mariam Aloma Mukhtar.



Alhaji Sabiu Dantata who received the award on behalf of his father thanked the foundation for the recognition and wished to emulate the legacies of his father.




The Managing Director of  Sir Ahmadu Bello memorial foundation ,Engr Abubakar Umar also  thank the people  and parents for finding time to attend the 7th Annual Sir Ahmadu Bello memorial Lecture Dinner and Award night.



Umar said the foundation would continue to work and ensure  continuity in promote the legacies of the late Northern premier Sir Ahmadu Bello. 


He said the foundation has been carrying out alot of  developmental activities and intervention in various areas most  especially on education, entrepreneurship, skills acquisition and in the areas of health.


Others include conflict resolutions,  problem associated with Internally Displace person IDPs and refugees across the North .( NAN)

Former Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has congratulated Chelsea on their Champions League win. The Blues won their second Champions League trophy after beating Manchester City 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Kai Havertz.

Mikel spent 13-years at Chelsea, winning numerous titles, including the club’s first Champions League trophy in 2012.

The Stoke City star sealed his status as a Chelsea legend after he gave a man of the match display against Bayern Munich to help the Blues win their first major European trophy on that emotional night at the Allianz Arena.

Chelsea’s class of 2021 have now replicated the success of the 2012 squad, and Mikel wasted no time in sending his congratulations to the Blues new heroes.

The ex-Middlesbrough midfielder took to his Instagram page to congratulate the team shortly after beating City in an exciting final.

Mikel was not the only Nigerian celebrity to celebrate the Blues win. The Psquare brothers, who are die-hard Chelsea fans, were also seen celebrating passionately after the match.
